Ouarzazate, Morocco was my staging point for a trip into the mountains and desert. Ultimately, my desert trip was to the Merzouga region and I could've traveled there to stay. However, Ouarzazate was a comfortable, laid-back town that was a comfortable retreat from the more touristy cities of Morocco. Ultimately, I met Vivien and Crystelle there and together, we arranged a 3-day 2-night trip through the mountains and to the desert. Our trip was arranged through an agency called Desert Dream. This litle expedition was the highlight of my Morocco trip.
